hank sr. his music was and still is the best no one but hank jr has come close to making music the way country music was meant to be made. hank sr left alot behind for us to learn about his music. music today is just not country you don't hear the blues or rythm i mean you have some singers out there that do but hanks music is just so much better than all those wanna bees. i grew up on hank sr and ernest tubb and other greats as a child cause that is all my granddaddy listened to, i am only thirty years old but i feel like a dinosaur in todays time cause i don't think i belong in this time, but i try to teach my kids about the greatest man to ever sing country, blues the real blues, and gospel music as hank williams sr did, and one other statement hank jr in my book is running a close number one with his daddy cause he is doing his own music and style and i love it just as much and lets not forget hank the third either we need to support his music also well i reckon that is all i got to say about this but i sure do wish hank was here to see what is going on cause i wish he straighten these people out in country music

I'am not a real big fan of country music but i love hes music. Great lyrical inspiration, great urbain poet. Despite he's lifestyle, hank did understand things that we usully do later in life. If you listen carefully the music, you will know what i mean.

Hank Williams was a true genius. No one has ever been able to duplicate his compositions or his delivery before or after his brief span on this earth. I was a few days shy of my eleventh birthday when he died, and I recall exactly where I was when I learned of his death. I still get emotional listening to his music. His recordings are timeless, and a gift to the ages.

Hello Fans, My hubby grew up listening to Hank Williams Sr. He says that there will never be country music like there was back then. The radio stations would never play the music anyway. What has happened to the great sound of "country and western music"... Gee what a waste!. It's like George Strait and Alan Jackson says: " There's been a murder on music row". So true...Thanks to these 2 guys, at least they keep the steel guitar alive!.I just wish you could turn on the radio and listen to Dolly Parton, Kitty Wells, George Jones, Stonewall Jackson etc....Faron.Wanna chat, just email ok? and take care....

Hank Williams, Sr. was a man who was troubled and blessed with his personal demons, as well as his given talents, and he shared both of them with friends and family. His music will always stand as a testimony to his own life. He wrote the music that influenced generations from his own shared experiences with life and with the bottle. Hank is number one!

Hank Williams, yes the greatest singer for me here near the north pole -- playing his songs all the time -- I have seen the movie years ago how he died newyearsday in 1953 in his car - a strong experience for me that I will remember for the rest of my life. All my best regards to all Hank Williams true friends.

Just saw an unbelievable performance of Hank Williams - Lost Highway last night at the Cleveland Playhouse. Jason Petty played Hank and was marvelous. There were times that I felt that I was watching Hank Williams Sr.'s ghost up on the stage. This is a "must see" if you get a chance.
